The Nature Conservancy – NC Chapter’s continued sponsorship continues to show their commitment to marginalized and historically excluded researchers who professionally work outdoors, allowing FI to have a further reach when providing support for minorities, as well as resources and programming to organizations and institutions who are committed to providing more inclusive experiences in the natural sciences.

Field Inclusive (FI) is proud to announce that it has secured a Silver Level sponsorship from The Nature Conservancy – NC Chapter (TNC-NC). Headquartered in Arlington, VA, this is TNC-NC’s 2nd year as a corporate sponsor of FI. TNC-NC is a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive.

TNC-NC values dignity and respect for all. They believe conservation is best advanced when diverse teams, partners and local communities are working together to better understand and protect our planet. In support of TNC’s values and mission, the Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (GDEI) team is dedicated to an inclusive workplace where their staff, volunteers and external partners represent, appreciate and uplift the communities we serve and intend to serve.

“I am proud of this partnership, and I’m very grateful that TNC-NC was so eager to support us again,” says Lauren D. Pharr, Field Inclusive CEO and co-founder. “We are excited that TNC-NC continues to be dedicated to promoting a more inclusive outdoors; these are the organizations that FI is honored to continue to work with.”

Special thanks to: Debbie Crane, communications director at TNC-NC for her dedication in making sure this partnership continues.
