AWARDS AND GRANTS

Field Inclusive provides funding opportunities that support historically excluded and underrepresented individuals in the natural sciences.

Our awards help reduce barriers to participation in research, conferences, and field-based experiences.

We offer several types of funding to support different stages of participation in the natural sciences:

Research Grants

Support for field-based research projects, including equipment, travel, and materials needed to conduct scientific work.

Travel Awards

Support for attendance at conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Fellowships

Support for individuals participating in unpaid or underfunded fieldwork, internships, or training experiences.

Internships

Opportunities that provide hands-on experience and support for individuals entering the natural sciences.

Our awards are intended for individuals from historically excluded and underrepresented groups in the natural sciences, including students, early-career professionals, and community members.

Field Inclusive funding helps cover:

– Field research expenses
– Conference registration and travel
– Equipment and supplies
– Participation in unpaid field experiences

Each award has its own eligibility criteria, application process, and deadlines. Visit the individual award pages for full details and application instructions.

Our awards are made possible through donations and sponsorships. Your support helps expand access to the natural sciences.

Our awards have supported individuals in pursuing research, attending conferences, and gaining field experience!
