Award amount
One Field Inclusive Travel Award of $2,000 supports a student or postdoc attending a scientific conference, training, or workshop in Fall 2026.

Who can apply

• Undergraduate students
• Master’s students
• Doctoral students
• Postdoctoral researchers
• Applicants must attend a U.S. institution
• International students are eligible if they attend a U.S. institution and/or have a U.S. bank account
• Travel must take place in the United States
• Students outside the U.S. are not eligible at this time

Application requirements

• Be a current Field Inclusive member
• Submit the application form, which will include:
  • Uploading a one-page essay explaining how the award will help you
  • Information about financial need
  • A DEI statement
  • If selected, a PDF of your accepted abstract or acceptance email

Travel window
Travel must take place between September 1 and December 31, 2026.

Important limits

• A person may receive only one Field Inclusive Travel Award in their lifetime
• This award cannot be combined with a travel award from another organization

Recipient expectations
After travel, recipients must provide a photograph and a 500–2,000 word write-up for the website. Sponsors may have additional requirements. Recipients may also be invited to present during a future #FieldInclusiveWeek.
